Software Developed for the Reduction, Analysis and Presentation of MILOCSURVNORLANT Environmental Data,

Abstract

MILOCSURVNORLANT was a joint acoustic and environmental operation carried out in the Norwegian Sea during 1970 on a multinational basis, coordinated by CINCEASTLANT. The purpose of the operation was to describe the acoustic propagation and reverberation properties of the Norwegian Sea and their seasonal and spatial dependance upon environmental factors. The major software, developed on an Elliott 503 computer, for the reduction, analysis and presentation of MILOCSURVNORLANT 70 data is described.
