On the Supply and Demand for Energy.
Abstract
A review of the world energy consumption is given and it is shown that there is a strong relationship between economic growth and energy consumption. A comprehensive analytical model capable of evaluating the impact of energy related decisions is developed. The model is descriptive of exploration, extraction, storage, import, and processing of energy resources and takes into account the relationship between these aspects of energy production and the market prices of energy resources.
