On Selection Procedures for the t Best Populations and some Related Problems.
Abstract
In selection and ranking problems, populations with large (small) values of the parameters with the largest, second largest,... of the unknown values of the k parameters to be the best, second best,... and so on. The authors are interested in selecting a subset containing the t best populations, t fixed, 1 < or = t < k.
