Abstract
The report summarizes studies of the following topic areas from 1 April 1973 through 20 June 1974: (1) Polymerization and copolymerization of organometallic, transition metal-containing, vinyl monomers and their characterization and reactivity; (2) The synthesis and characterization of siloxane-ferrocene condensation polymers; (3) The binding of homogeneous organometallic compounds or catalysts to polymers and their use in organic reactions; (4) The synthesis of semiconducting, mixed valence state polymers; and, (5) The thermal decomposition of organometal carbonyl polymers.
