DEFINIT--A New Element Definition Capability for NASTRAN: User's Manual,
Abstract
To relieve the user's of NASTRAN--the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's general purpose finite element, structural analysis computer program--from the necessity of beconing involved with internal aspects of NASTRAN when he adds a new element, a new element definition capability has been developed. This capability takes the form of a preprocessor which will generate, according to user specifications, the FORTRAN routines and tables required by NASTRAN for a new element. The manual contains details and instructions on the use of the preprocessor, and provides numerous examples. (Author)
