Protection of High-Melting Metals and Alloys from Diffusion Setting with High Temperatures and Loads,

Abstract

This article investigates the adhesive interaction of certain alloys of high-melting metals (molybdenum, niobium and tantalum) in a neutral medium in a temperature range of 1300-1500C under a 5 kgf/sq mm load both in the initial state and after the application of protective coatings. Specific materials were carbides, borides and nitrides.
