The Question Concerning the Pathogenesis of Vibration Pathology Caused by the Action of General Vibration,

Abstract

The pathomorphological investigations of the nervous system and parenchymatous organs of animals which were subjected to the effect of general vibration of the different parameters more convincingly reveal the nature of the vibration pathology. Thus, under the influence of vibration 0.8-1.0 mm in amplitude at a frequency of 50 Hz, marked changes in the central nervous system, in the peripheral nerves, in the liver, and in kidneys were observed. Action on animals of general vibration 0.05 mm in amplitude does not reveal pathological damages.
