Gravity Measurements in the Sea of Japan (Izmereniya Sily Tyazhesti v Yaponskom More),
Abstract
A description is given and results presented of gravimetric investigations in the area of the Sea of Japan, on the islands around Japan and partially in the waters of the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean washing Japan. Data of Soviet expeditions are presented in the form of lists of gravity stations. Data of the Japanese expeditions are given in the form of lists, individual maps, diagrams and profiles. The isostatic anomalies are computed and presented for the Japanese measurements in the area of the Sea of Japan. Apparatus, methods of surveying, conditions of observations and accuracy estimations of the obtained results are described.
