L. G. Arpin Co. Modified Div-Air Demand Regulator.

Abstract

The report covers the evaluation, inspection, and breathing machine tests on the modified Div-Air demand regulator. The evaluation was made to determine if the regulator is suitable for use in the Naval service. The evaluation consisted of three phases: Breathing machine test runs on the surface, and at a depth of 132 feet; a visual inspection for comparison with the description given in the previous evaluation; and an inspection of dissassembled components. The results showed that the modifications to the regulator make it suitable for use in the Naval service. (Author)
