Liquid Crystal Display Panel.
Abstract
The objective of this program is to demonstrate the feasiblity of developing an effective x-y addressed liquid crystal display by fabricating a three-inch square flat dynamic scattering device incorporating all addressing and drive circuitry for the display of alphanumeric and vector-graphical information at a resolution of 30 lines per inch. Photomask fabrication by reticle composition has been accomplished. Silicon slice processing is in progress. Calculations have been made that verify thermal expansion aspects of package design.
