R/M Data Analysis of the UH-1/AH-1 Tail Rotor System

Abstract

The report provides reliability, maintainability, and cost analysis of historical data reported on the UH-1/AH-1 tail rotor subsystems. The objectives of this analysis are to develop benchmark maintenance and logistic support data for the design of future helicopter anti-torque systems and to put into better perspective the cost of tail-rotor-system-associated mishaps.
