A Method for Integrating Surface and Ground Water Use in Humid Regions.

Abstract

The report attempts to examine and quantify the role of ground water in future allocations of surface water storage for water supply. It identifies the circumstances under which integrated use of ground and surface water may be desirable in humid regions such as the Appalachian. The report develops a methodology for analysis and includes a case study. (Author)
