Test Instrumentation for a 15 GHz Digital Radio Link.
Abstract
The report discusses requirements for test instrumentation to determine directly the relationship between the performance of 15 GHz digital radio links and the atmospheric environment. The methods of obtaining the required radio and meteorological information are outlined, electronic test instruments and recording configurations are described, and the advantages of a particular radio link for initial testing of 15 GHz systems in Germany are considered.
