An Approximate Transonic Calculative Method Applied to Various Smooth Shaped Nose-Cylindrical Bodies.

Abstract

An approximate transonic small disturbance technique originally developed for ogival noses and cylindrical afterbodies has been extended to arbitrary smooth nose forebodies and cylindrical afterbodies. Limitations of the method and trends are discussed. (Author)
