Interim Report on Fokker-Planck Studies of Two-Component-Tori.

Abstract

The two-Component-Torus concept has been studied for transient beam injection into a target plasma with impurities and losses. Two figures of merit are calculated for various beam target parameters, to show the sensitivity of TCT performance to these parameters. The time dependences of important parameters are presented for a representative case. (Author)
