Changes in the Phagocytic Activity and Stability of Leukocytes during Sensitization by Fungi-Saphrophyte Allergens,

Abstract

The study of the immunological principles forming the basis of the allergic rearrangement of the organism has important theoretical and practical significance, because it contributes to the scientific foundation of the methods of diagnosing and treating allergic illnesses. In this case, the pathogenic microbes and saprophytes - representatives of the normal microflora of the human organism - are deserving of serious attention. One of the characteristic indices of the allergic alteration of cells, and in particular of leukocytes, is the deformation and the cytolysis of them. The purpose of the work consisted in studying the mechanisms of fungous allergy and the properties of the allergens being employed.
