Preliminary Cruise Report and Index of Geophysical Data, Chain 115 Leg 1.

Abstract

Geological and geophysical activities which were undertaken during Leg 1 (Woods Hole to Dakar) of R/V CHAIN Cruise 115 (SOUTHLANT Expedition) are summarized. A series of charts and profiles display the navigation, bathymetry, total-field magnetic anomaly, and free-air gravity anomaly measurements, as well as the locations of seismic reflection lines and coring, heat flow, and hydrographic stations.
