Documentation for Assembling Electronic Circuit Boards.
Abstract
A specification covering the requirements for assembly of components to printed wiring boards was prepared, the requirements reflecting the state of this art as presently practiced by a cross section of the electronic equipment and systems manufacturers. The requirements have been derived from answers to a detailed questionnaire and from visits to facilities of major electronics manufacturers. The answers have been subjected to a computer-aided analysis. The questionnaire, answers, and analysis are included in this report. Also included are recommendations for updating existing military specifications on printed circuits and related materials. (Author)
