A Multi-Stream Compressible Flow Computerized Analysis.

Abstract

A description of a FORTRAN 5 computer code for predicting the inviscid flow field produced by the interaction between several adjacent streams is presented. The flow field solution is based on the method of characteristics. To illustrate the use of the code, analytical results are used to develop optical property predictions for both the near and far fields for centrifugal aerowindow flow fields generated by four, two, and single nozzles. Further, a comparison is made between the four nozzle aerowindow far field optical predictions and experimental results. All instructions needed for execution of the computer program are contained within. (Author)
