Diver's Dosimeter.

Abstract

The report covers the evaluation of a dosimeter, encased in a watertight housing, to determine its usefulness as a diver's tool. The report describes the dosimeter in detail. The case was tested for pressure and watertightness to depths of 200 and 300 feet of simulated water pressure in a recompression chamber and tested for readability and ease of handling in the open tanks, pressure tanks, and in the Anacostia River. The report draws conclusions of suitability of the dosimeter for use as a diver's tool. Photographs and readability test sheets supplement the description of the dosimeter and results of the evaluation. (Modified author abstract)
