Abstract

Much has been written about the impact of computers on society. Little has been written on the issue of the impact of society on the structure and function of computers. The paper is dedicated to the intelligent use of computers in helping people, individually and collectively, in the best tradition of humanistic scientific method that empirically tests and verifies human benefits.
