Machine Independent Data Management System (MIDMS) System Specifications

Abstract

The report describes the function of user-written subroutines in MIDMS which permit actions to be performed which cannot easily be defined in the normal MIDMS languages. There are three distinct types of user-written subroutines in MIDMS: conversion subroutines, validity checking subroutines and special operator subroutines.
