A Method for Determining the Concentration of Charged Air Particles,

Abstract

The authors examined the question concerning the effect of the intrinsic charge of a flying body on the distribution of charged particles at the entrance to the instrument in dense gas. They present the estimations of the effect of the ultraviolet radiation on the readings of the instrument and gasdynamic relationships which connect the concentration values determined in the instrument chamber with the corresponding values in an unperturbed atmosphere.
