Abstract

The computerized deployment simulation used in most of the SPANS deployment analyses is a relatively simple model, designated QTYP (Quicker than a Yellow Pad). A more detailed Navy simulation called REACT has been used for purposes of comparison and validation of QTYP results. Annexes A and B hereto are brief summaries of QTYP and REACT logic.
