Abstract
A considerable body of experience has been accumulated by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's Buoy Project in the successful use of American Machine and Foundry's acoustic anchor-release systems. This publication is a manual of maintenance and operation procedures developed here and in conjunction with AMF personnel and their publications, and is intended to supplement rather than to replace AMF's manuals.
