Features of the Process of One- and Two-Component Surface Alloying of Alloy ZhS6-K from Suspensions,

Abstract

The work investigates the features of the process of saturation of alloy ZhS6-K by aluminum, silicon, boron, chromium, zirconium, and also aluminum together with the other indicated elements. Saturation was accomplished by the deposition of suspension, consisting of dispersed particles of the saturating elements and solution of nitrocellulose (colloxylin), on the surface of the sample after the homogenizing of samples in a protective atmosphere (argon, vacuum).
