High-Temperature Coatings on Graphite,

Abstract

This work studies the deposition of protective coatings on graphite substrates, designated for parts which operate under various conditions. Depending on the requirements imposed on a particular product, the authors study protective coatings which were obtained by precipitation from a vapor-gas phase, surfacing, plasma deposition. Some coatings described are ZrO2, Al-Al2O3, B-Si, Al2O3-Si, Al2O3-Mo, and oxide mixtures.
