Parametrization of Calculating Non-Adiabatic Factors in the Spectral Prediction Model,

Abstract

Non-adiabatic factors, related to radiative heat transfer, phase transitions of water and turbulent mixing, have an appreciable effect on the development and maintenance of atmospheric motion. A rather simple method of parametrization of non-adiabatic factors, undertaken on the basis of the spectral prediction model, is outlined in the investigation.
