Dust Storms in the Altay Territory,

Abstract

A study of dust storms in the Altay territory shows that there has been an increase over recent years. Apart from becoming more frequent, these storms are now lasting longer. In order to prevent the complete erosion of fertile soil, afforestation should be carried out to minimize the effects of the wind. (Author)
