Experimental Investigation of the Coefficient of Sliding Friction during Rotation of a Steel Shaft in a Polymer Bearing,

Abstract

Results of comparative tests on the friction of bearings made of several polymer compositions are described. The level of energy losses on the friction of steel shaft in a bearing was selected as the evaluation criterion. The effect of operating conditions on the change of the magnitude of losses is discussed.
