Selection of Composition and Heat Treatment of Cast Magnetic Alloys,

Abstract

There are at present only two alloys - YuNDK24 and YuNDK35T5 (Co-Ti-Fe-Al-Cu-Ni-Nb) with high magnetic energy. The problem of making new alloys with magnetic properties is discussed. The composition of starting alloys, necessary heat treatment, and magnetic properties of obtained alloys are described. The effect of the content of Ni and Co, as well as of heat treatment on the magnetic properties of new alloys is also discussed.
