Support of Air Force Automatic Data Processing Requirements through the 1980's (SADPR-85). Volume III. Technology. Appendix VI, Including Annex A.

Abstract

Since the SADPR-85 Data Project Directive called for planning a system for implementation in the late 1970s and early 1980s, an understanding was needed of the data processing and communications capabilities and costs likely to be available at that time. Previous technology forecasts generally dealt with components and the state-of-the-art in research and development. The appendix summarizes and integrates the major findings of these technology forecasts and provides the basis for the system configuration descriptions which are contained in Appendix IX.
