Digital Display of Characteristic Parameters of Active Radio Frequency Transmission Systems.
Abstract
A concept for the digital display of radio-frequency parameters present on a transmission line terminated at an antenna is developed. Design criteria for the realization of this concept are established and discussed. The complete electronic and mechanical design, as well as fabrication of a prototype system analyzer is described in detail. Schematic diagrams of all electronic circuitry employed and photographs of prototype equipment are included. Preliminary performance test results are presented and discussed. (Author)
