Omega Signal Processor.

Abstract

The goal of the program was to design and develop a digital fully automatic phase tracking Omega Processor using COS/MOS Integrated Circuits for low power consumption. The design approach is discussed and shown to be a multistate computer oriented process flow. The RF section and digital processor section are discussed in detail and an overall system specification is generated. Results of the testing of the RF and Digital sections are presented. A brief discussion of the Omega system of navigation is included to inform the reader of the existing system and plans to expand it into a global navigation system. (Author)
