Partitioned-Data-Set Utility Routines for the Control Data CDC-6700 Computer.

Abstract

The report describes a system of computer software routines which enable the user to build and maintain any number of data partitions on a single CDC-6700/SCOPE 3.3 direct-access file. The partition may contain source code, object code, absolute code, or data of any type. The Partitioned-Data-Set Utility Routines enable the user to add, delete, rename or retrieve any partition on the data set, and to obtain a listing of the partition names. creation dates, lengths and paswords. These functions can be executed either through SCOPR control cards or subroutine calls. (Author)
