On Ranking and Selection Procedures and Tests of Homogeneity for Binomial Populations.

Abstract

Let Pi sub 1, pi sub 2,..., pi sub k be independent binomial populations such that the random observation X sub i from pi sub i has the frequency bn; p sub i), i = 1,2,..., k. In the paper, the purpose is to study a procedure to select a subset of these populations, containing the population whose parameter value equals the largest p sub i. (Author)
