Analysis of Electromagnetic Processes of Thyristor Pulsed-Width Converters,

Abstract

It is recommended that thyristor pulse-width converters with the inductive coupling be used in the systems of automatic control as the regulators of power. Such a converter makes it possible to obtain high switching frequencies with large values of the power source output coefficient; moreover, when analyzing the electromagnetic processes in the systems of thyristor pulse-width converters it is advisable to use a computer which permits one to study the processes over a wide range of change in the parameters with consideration of the nonlinearity of the element characteristics.
