Jet Cooling of the Leading Edge of a Turbine Blade,

Abstract

One of the effective methods of the cooling of the leading edge of a turbine blade is jet blowing. In the reported experiments the object of the investigation was the model of a working blade made in a 5:1 scale with a chord of 60 mm. Parameters of the investigated system of jets were varied by means of an interchangeable nozzle part installed onto a permanent deflector.
