Structure and Properties of Ingots during Crystallization in an Electromagnetic Field,

Abstract

A new method for crystallization of ingots in an electromagnetic crystallizer. This has several advantages over the normal method: there are less defects formed during casting and their high quality is maintained irrespective of the alloy or size of ingot. This method will be of great value in the future.
