The evaluation was made to check certain characteristics of the Kidde Oxygen Recharge Equipment, Model X-4209, Serial 23201-1A, its installation, advantage, and disadvantage for shore and field use. This report describes the installation and testing of this equipment. The results are discussed constructively and lead to the following conclusions: capacity of compressor is too small; equipment is obsolescent; equipment is not portable; control board is very good; and installation of high pressure lines and valves is very good.
