Carbofunctional Organosilicon Compounds. XV. Investigations of the Polymerization of Carbofunctional Organosilicon Diisocyanates,
Abstract
The authors investigated the polymerization of 1,3-bis-(omega-isocyanate-alkyldialkyl)-disiloxanes catalyzed by potassium cyanate in dimethylformamide and in bulk. The effect of the monomer and catalyst concentration, and also temperature, on the polymerization process was established. An isocyanurate structure of polymer products was proposed.
