On the Mechanism of the Homogeneous Positive Column in Oxygen Low-Pressure Discharge,
Abstract
The elementary processes determining the discharge mechanism of low-pressure oxygen discharge are reviewed. The fundamental equations for a theory of the quasi-neutral axial homogeneous positive column are derived. The ionization and charge transport mechanism are discussed.
