Protective Lotions for Military Personnel.

Abstract

Topically applied cosmetically acceptable lotions were developed that offered substantial protection to test animals against Schistosome cercariae penetration. Long term dermal adhesion and environmental resistance of polymeric films were evaluated. Special cosmetic and environmental test methods using non-human subjects were established. (Author)
