Life Activity of Some Cellulose-Decomposing Fungi,

Abstract

Determination of growth and activity of various cellulose-decomposing fungi was carried out by laboratory study of sugar production and substrate viscosity, at various temperatures and pH values, using carboxymethylcellulose, Nacarboxymethylcellulose and hydroxyethylcellulose substrates. Use of hydroxyethylcellulose substrates and viscometric determination of fungus activity proved to be the most effective.
