Thermal Dissociation of Lead Azide Obtained under Different Conditions (Termicheskoe Razlozhenie Azida Svintsa Poluchennogo v Razlichhnykh Usloviyakh),

Abstract

Properties and, in particular, thermostability of crystalline solid bodies, to a large extent, depend on the conditions under which they are obtained. The authors conducted investigations on the effect of these factors on the rate of thermal dissociation of lead azide in solid solutions on lead-azide base with contaminants of divalent copper. Thermal dissociation was studied under different experimental conditions. Dissociation mechanisms are discussed.
