Threat Recognition and Analysis: The Annual Report, 1973-1974

Abstract

The purpose of the annual report is to give potential users of international threat material an overview of the purposes of the Threat Recognition and Analysis Project and to review the technical reports produced by associates of the project. The Nigeria-Biafra case is a demonstration test case of a methodology for analyzing threat processes. The study demonstrates the need for incorporating procedures for recognizing domestic disturbances which may eventually constitute international crises.
