Optimization of the Graphic Data Input-Output Subsystem in an Automated Information Retrieval System for Chemistry,
Abstract
Optimizing the graphic data input-output system in an information retrieval system for chemistry is described: it involves factors such as kinds of graphics, parameters being measured and coded, densities of the flows of various kinds of graphic data, and equipment characteristics and capabilities. An international review is made of semiautomatic and fully automatic graphic data input-output subsystems, along with integrated systems of information retrieval.
