Methods of Coherent Optics and Holography Applied to Problems in Antenna Engineering and Data Processing,

Abstract

Possible applications of coherent optics and holography to problems in antenna engineering and data processing are examined. Methods of coherent optics can be used in simulating antennas, restoring antenna radiation patterns from Fresnel-zone field measurements, and so on. Holography and matched optical filtration are quite effective in image recognition.
