Infrared Emission of Some Molecular Gases Excited by Fast Electrons (Spektry Ispuskaniya Nekotorykh Molekulyarnykh Gazov Vozbuzhdennykh Bystrymi Elektronami v Infrakrasnoi Oblasti Spektra),

Abstract

The infrared spectra (spectral region 7000 - 11,500 A) of N2, O2, CO CO2, NO, CH4, NH3, H2O molecules excited by fast electrons with energy of 13 kev were investigated. Nitrogen spectrum was also investigated at the energy 150 ev. The spectra were compared with the spectra of the same gases excited by slow electrons and protons. Assignments and features are discussed.
