Color Graphics.
Abstract
This report details progress made during the period 1 January 1973 - 30 December 1973. Major accomplishments during this time were: (1) the completion of a half-tone scan graphics system; (2) the definition of a scan conversion and hidden surface removal algorithm for a minicomputer; (3) implementation of a shading algorithm; (4) programming of a two-dimensional interactive color patterning system; (5) implementation of a set of programs to assemble and manipulate three-dimensional object assemblies; (6) completion of a simple animation sequence calculation; (7) design of a very fast processor (under 100ns cycle time), in the minicomputer price-class, for graphics processing; (8) completion of a data structure for interactive three-dimensional graphics; (9) definition of parameters for an English language interactive graphics processor.
